Description

Graphic Designer – Event Retail The Graphic Designer – Event Retail will create visually appealing retail branding designs for the Fanatics Event Retail team, including store branding, marketing materials, in-store displays, packaging, and digital graphics, while aligning with each partners’ brand identity to enhance customer engagement and drive sales. Will regularly collaborate with internal and external teams including marketing, merchandising and retail design teams to ensure visual consistency across all retail channels. Fanatics Event Retail partners include a diverse and exciting group of brands including MLB, NHL, WWE, UFC, LA28 Olympics, FIFA, Kentucky Derby, San Diego Comic Con among others. An exciting opportunity as each event is different and unique and offers a new opportunity to evolve the customer experience.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and maintain brand guidelines, creating logos, color palettes, typography, and visual elements that reflect the company's image.
  • Create eye-catching store exterior branding, in-store displays, fixture signage and graphics, and promotional graphics to enhance customer experience. 
  • Proficient with interpreting and adhering to partners style guides, while upleveling the execution.
  • Develop print and digital marketing assets like flyers, posters, social media graphics, email banners, and website visuals. 
  • Design packaging for products, including labels, boxes, and other packaging components to maintain brand consistency. 
  • Design both static and motion graphics for digital displays and online platforms like websites, e-commerce stores, and social media campaigns. 
  • Work with marketing, merchandising, and product development teams to understand campaign objectives and ensure design alignment. 
  • Provide presentation and proposal design support for retail events
  • Stay updated on current design trends and incorporate them into visual concepts to keep the brand fresh

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: 

  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and other relevant design tools including 3D rendering.
  • Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout design, and visual hierarchy 
  • Ability to interpret brand guidelines and apply them consistently across all design elements 
  • Generate fresh and engaging visual concepts to stand out in the market 
  • Attention to Detail proven ability and trust to ensure accuracy and consistency in all design elements 
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand project needs and deliver designs that align with expectations 
  • 2+ years designing retail store environments, printed marketing and point of sale materials.
  • Strong Knowledge of WWE & UFC brands a strong plus due to the ever-changing nature of those 365 day a year brands.
  • Excellent managerial, organizational, and communication skills, with experience presenting to executive and senior leadership teams.
  • Experience with visual merchandising is a plus.
  • Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior organizational abilities, including multitasking, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and make quick, effective decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop strategies based on data insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant tools.
