Temporary (Freelance) Graphic Designer

We are looking for a talented freelance Graphic Designer to assist our Marketing team as an independent contractor from April 21st - July 13th (approx.). This position requires 15-20 hours per week and involves working on a variety of digital and print design projects across all divisions at Barron Heating AC Electrical & Plumbing, including our newest division WholeHome™ Alliance.

Responsibilities: 

• Ensure all design work aligns with company's brand standards for consistency across various mediums
• Develop strategic visuals and messaging to support Top-of-Mind Awareness (TOMA) campaigns
• Create design assets for direct mail, email, print, and billboard campaigns
• Design signage and vehicle graphics that align with brand messaging 
• Develop website content, display ads, and remarketing ads to enhance digital marketing efforts
• Design graphics and content for social media platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
• Create marketing materials for events such as home shows, exhibitions, branded giveaways, affinity wear, and promotional SWAG
• Design engaging materials to support exhibitions and Barron community events (e.g., home shows, solar open houses, radio remotes, customer-facing events)
• Develop showroom displays and collateral materials
• Design internal documents and hiring materials as needed
• Provide design support for the Barron Technician School and WholeHome™ Academy curriculum materials
• Assist with copywriting for various marketing and promotional materials 

Compensation:

• Temporary Position
• $55.00-$65.00 per hour; DOE

Qualifications: 

• Proven experience in freelance graphic design (portfolio required)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of digital and print design principles 
• Copywriting experience is a plus but not required 
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Must have the necessary equipment and software as part of your independent business operations 

Additional Terms:

• Location: Remote
• Temporary Work: 1099 Independent Contractor (must meet Washington State criteria for self-employment)   
• Confidentiality: A signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is required
