Title: Sr. UX Designer

Location: Remote, US

Duration: 6 months contract

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

Full-scale UX design, from strategy development to execution, including starting projects from scratch. Ecommerce-related projects, such as cart checkout flows, credit card information handling, and product listing pages (PLPs) and product detail pages (PDPs).

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Take accountability for delivering end-to-end feature changes that significantly impact the core aspects of the product.
  • Assess the business impact of various solutions, weighing tradeoffs between business/customer needs, technology requirements, and costs.
  • Lead structured brainstorming sessions to generate proposed product improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, tech teams, and cross-functional creative design and content strategy teams.
  • Advocate for UX design principles, demonstrating systematic and strategic thinking throughout the design process.
  • Own your work, demonstrating pride in design and maintaining a strong point of view.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8-9 years of directly relevant work experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
  • Extensive experience (5+ years) in UX design, demonstrating expertise in strategy and design across various projects.
  • Previous experience in ecommerce or agency settings, particularly in areas such as cart checkout, handling credit card information, and designing PLPs and PDPs.
  • Proficiency in Figma for design work, along with experience using project management tools like Asana and Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work autonomously as the sole design lead, while effectively collaborating with other teams.
